Sports Clubs
Short Mat Bowls
Raskelf short mat bowls club have 2 teams and play matches usually on an evening in the village hall. They can be found in the hall on a Wednesday afternoon club day. They are members of the White Rose Summer League and have 2 teams in the Kyle Winter League as well as a team in The Winter Vale of York Pairs. New members always welcome. The club would especially like to hear from young people to join them.

Cricket Club
Raskelf has had a cricket team since the early 1900’s playing their home games on a field down where there are now houses on ‘The Green’. Games start at 6:30pm with both teams ending in the pub afterwards for supper. The ground has won many awards throughout the clubs history hosting many different league finals and events with both permanent and roll on nets available to train on.
Tennis Club
Raskelf has a thriving Tennis scene with 3 courts located just behind the Village Hall. There are a variety of membership options available to suit everyone from the occasional player to the seasoned pro! Raskelf have tennis teams in a number of local leagues and participation in local level matches in much encouraged for those who wish to.
Village Friends
Village Friends are a group of villagers who meet once a month for a social evening and to plan fund raising events for the benefit of the whole village.
